KITTEN ADOPTION

If you are interested in adopting one of our kittens, the process is quite simple. We require you to fill out a two page questionnaire that we’ll send you via email, at your request. You can fill it out and email it back to us and after we look it over we’ll contact you. If you would like to be on a reservation list we require a $100 non-refundable deposit to hold your place for a kitten. If after the kittens are born there is not a kitten to your satisfaction, you can either be refunded for your deposit or wait until another litter is produced for your kitten. If no kitten is produced by the second litter to your satisfaction, you will be refunded your deposit. Once a kitten is chosen your deposit becomes non-refundable.

PRICE OF PIXIE BOB KITTENS

Kittens are priced by quality, color, size, sex and traits. Our prices vary from $900-1200. The non-standard colors vary within that range as well. Sometimes the prices may be lower or higher depending on the kitten. Polydactyl footed kittens are $1500.

CLARIFYING OUR INTENTIONS AS BREEDERS

Our goal is to produce stunning kittens from the best of the old Northwest lines, and by doing so exceed your expectations. We have chosen to concentrate on producing healthy, well socialized, gorgeous pets for the discerning cat fancier. (After raising dogs for years I have a short attention span for animal breeding politics.) All kittens will be altered prior to leaving Daze O Grace. Kittens come with a health guarantee, up to date on vaccines and worming, altered, vet checked and in good health. Our kittens are sold with a contract agreement and may not be resold, given away, or surrendered to any kind of rescue or humane society without contacting Daze O Grace first and accepting any help we might be able to lend. NOTE: We do not sell breeding cats or kittens to other breeders, nor do we place kittens by second parties. We only place kittens to approved pet homes that are actually going to keep the kitten. We are not currently showing our cats, although some of them are finished champions and we’re very proud of their accomplishments.

TIME LINE FOR PLACING KITTENS

Kittens stay in our home until they are emotionally ready to be adopted which is usually between 10-12 weeks old. Taking a kitten too early can easily affect them adversely for their entire life. So, it’s best to be patient and get the best developed kitten, giving it all the advantages you can. The new protocol for giving vaccines has also changed in the past few years so we vaccinate them first at 9 weeks, second at 12 weeks.

SHIPPING

We do ship kittens by the time they are 12 weeks old in the continental USA. We highly prefer to have you come and pick up in person but if that is impossible, we can certainly ship. The approximate cost usually runs about $300 – 400. This includes the airfare, shipping crate and the airline health certificate from our vet. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer, arrangements being made by the breeder.
